JPEGMAFIA in Riverside

JPEGMAFIA is an American rapper and producer born Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks in Brooklyn in 1989. He established the JPEGMAFIA name in Baltimore and became known for abrasive, sample-heavy experimental hip-hop on albums including Veteran, All My Heroes Are Cornballs and LP!, as well as songs such as “1539 N. Calvert,” “Baby I’m Bleeding” and “HAZARD DUTY PAY!” His collaborative record with Danny Brown, Scaring the Hoes, extended that catalog. In 2019, JPEGMAFIA opened for Vince Staples on the Smile, You’re on Camera Tour before mounting the JPEGMAFIA Type Tour later that year. He and Danny Brown toured together behind their joint album in 2023, and he followed in 2024 with the Lay Down My Life Tour.
