About Juli
Juli are a German pop-rock band formed in Giessen in 2001, fronted by singer Eva Briegel. Their 2004 debut album, Es ist Juli, introduced the songs “Perfekte Welle” and “Geile Zeit”; later releases included Ein neuer Tag and the single “Dieses Leben.”
In 2005, Juli performed at the Live 8 concert in Berlin and won the Bundesvision Song Contest for Hesse with “Geile Zeit.” The band subsequently toured behind Ein neuer Tag, while the 2023 Der Sommer ist vorbei tour marked its return to German concert halls.
