Julia Jacklin in Salt Lake City

Julia Jacklin is an Australian singer-songwriter raised in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales who plays indie rock, folk and alternative country. Her debut album, Don't Let the Kids Win, introduced songs including “Pool Party,” while Crushing brought “Pressure to Party” and “Don't Know How to Keep Loving You.” She followed those records with Pre Pleasure. In 2017, she performed at Glastonbury Festival while touring her debut album. Tours behind Crushing and Pre Pleasure later took her through clubs and theatres in Australia, North America and Europe, including a full-band performance at London's Roundhouse in 2023.
