Julien Clerc in Pau

Julien Clerc is a French singer and composer, born in Paris in 1947, who has performed piano-led pop and chanson since the late 1960s. His best-known songs include “Ce n’est rien,” “Si on chantait,” “Ma préférence,” “Femmes, je vous aime” and “Mélissa.” In 1968, Julien Clerc opened for Gilbert Bécaud at the Olympia, before playing Claude in the Paris production of Hair at the Théâtre de la Porte-Saint-Martin the following year. Beginning in 2017, he celebrated five decades on stage in French theatres and arenas on La tournée des 50 ans.
