Julión Álvarez y su Norteño Banda in Aguascalientes

Julián Álvarez y su Norteño Banda is a Mexican regional music act led by singer Julián Álvarez, who was born in 1983 in La Concordia, Chiapas. After singing with Banda MS, he established his own group in 2007 and built a repertoire around banda, norteño and corridos. His best-known recordings include “Te Hubieras Ido Antes,” “Y Así Fue,” “El Amor de Su Vida” and “Terrenal.” Julián Álvarez y su Norteño Banda has performed in the palenque at the Feria Nacional de San Marcos in Aguascalientes, part of the traditional regional Mexican concert circuit. In 2024, he and Alfredo Olivas took their joint Prófugos del Anexo concerts into stadium settings, including Estadio 3 de Marzo in Zapopan.
