Junichi Inagaki is a Japanese pop singer and drummer, born in Sendai in 1953, whose recordings draw on city pop and adult-oriented rock. He made his solo debut in 1982 and released the album 246:3AM; his best-known songs include “Dramatic Rain,” “Natsu no Klaxon” and “Christmas Carol no Koro ni.” In 2022, Junichi Inagaki marked 40 years since his solo debut with an anniversary concert program centered on his catalog. Alongside his theatre concerts, he has presented the same repertoire in club settings at Billboard Live Tokyo and Billboard Live Osaka.

Junko Yagami is a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in Nagoya in 1958, whose pop writing draws on kayōkyoku, funk and the sound later associated with city pop. She is best known for “Mizuiro no Ame,” “Purple Town: You Oughta Know by Now” and “Mr. Blue: Watashi no Chikyu.” The Yaga Matsuri concert series began in 2017 and gave her a recurring showcase for songs from across her catalogue in Tokyo. Her later live work has also included theatre tours and performances at Billboard Live Osaka and Billboard Live Yokohama.
