Junior H is a Mexican singer-songwriter born in Guanajuato in 2001. He helped bring the melancholy style known as sad sierreño into corridos tumbados, pairing regional Mexican instrumentation with lyrics about heartbreak and street life. His best-known releases include the albums Mi Vida en un Cigarro and Sad Boyz 4 Life, as well as the songs “Mente Positiva,” “Y Lloro” and “Fin de Semana” with Óscar Maydon. The 2023 Sad Boyz Mania Tour took Junior H through arenas across the United States and led into a headline concert at Foro Sol in Mexico City. That stadium date brought material from Sad Boyz 4 Life II into one of the largest rooms of his touring career. His festival appearances have included Rolling Loud California in Inglewood and Coachella in Indio.
