About K-Paz De La Sierra
K-Paz De La Sierra is a Mexican-American duranguense group formed in Chicago in 2002 by singer Sergio Gómez. The band became known for keyboard-led regional Mexican music and songs including “Mi Credo,” “Volveré” and “Procuro Olvidarte,” as well as the album Capaz de Todo por Ti.
During the mid-2000s, K-Paz De La Sierra performed across the United States and Mexico. In December 2007, the group played Estadio Morelos in Morelia; Gómez was abducted and killed after the concert, making it the final K-Paz De La Sierra performance led by Sergio Gómez.
