About Kainalu
Kainalu is the psychedelic pop project of American multi-instrumentalist Trent Prall, based in Madison, Wisconsin. Synth-pop, funk and electronic textures shape releases including the albums Lotus Gate and Ginseng Hourglass, as well as songs such as “Folds Like Origami” and “Kamikaze Mushroom Palace.”
An Audiotree Live session in Chicago documented Kainalu in a full-band setting. In 2023, the project toured North America as support for Ginger Root.
