Kakkmaddafakka in Freiburg im Breisgau

Kakkmaddafakka are a Norwegian indie-rock band formed in Bergen in 2004. Their music combines guitar-led pop, rock rhythms and prominent vocal harmonies; the albums Hest and Six Months Is a Long Time, along with songs such as “Restless” and “Forever Alone,” established their best-known sound. Kakkmaddafakka played Roskilde Festival early in their recording career, then took the songs from Hest through clubs and festivals across Europe. That touring later brought them to Germany’s Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival. The concert lineup is a full band augmented by the Kakkmaddachoir, whose members provide backing vocals and synchronized dance routines.
