Kaliopi in Belgrade

Kaliopi is a North Macedonian pop and rock singer-songwriter born in Ohrid who first became known as the lead vocalist of the band Kaliopi. Her signature songs include “Bato,” “Crno i belo” and “Dona,” and her powerful contralto has become central to her recordings. Kaliopi performed “Crno i belo” at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku Crystal Hall and advanced to the Grand Final. Four years later, she returned to the competition with “Dona” at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.
