Kandace Springs in Walnut Creek

Kandace Springs is an American singer, songwriter and pianist from Nashville who performs vocal jazz, soul and R&B. She is known for her Blue Note debut Soul Eyes, the album Indigo and The Women Who Raised Me, a collection of interpretations honoring artists including Nina Simone and Sade. In 2014, Prince invited her to perform at Paisley Park during celebrations marking the anniversary of Purple Rain. She later opened for Gregory Porter at the Royal Albert Hall before headlining her own club and theatre concerts. Bonnaroo in Tennessee and North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam are among the festivals where she has performed.
