Kanonenfieber is a German blackened death metal project created in Bamberg by the anonymous musician Noise in 2020. Its songs draw on letters, diaries and military records from the First World War, presenting the conflict through works including the albums Menschenmühle and Die Urkatastrophe. Kanonenfieber made its live debut at Rockharz Open Air in 2022. For the stage, Noise assembled an anonymous full band whose members perform in black masks and military-style uniforms; the group subsequently appeared at Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air.
