Kany García in Sinaloa de Leyva

Kany García is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, born in Toa Baja in 1982, who writes Spanish-language Latin pop led by guitar and piano. Her debut album, Cualquier Día, introduced songs including “Hoy Ya Me Voy” and “Esta Soledad”; later releases include Soy Yo, Contra el Viento and the collaboration album Mesa Para Dos. The 2014 concert album Kany García: En Vivo documented her full-band performance at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. Beginning in 2022, she presented material from El Amor Que Merecemos in the United States, Latin America and Spain on the El Amor Que Merecemos Tour.
