Artist
Karnataka are a Welsh progressive rock band formed in Swansea in 1997 by musicians including bassist Ian Jones and vocalist Rachel Jones. The band plays melodic progressive rock with Celtic folk and symphonic elements, often built around female lead vocals. Its best-known albums include Delicate Flame of Desire, The Gathering Light and Secrets of Angels. At RoSfest in 2012, Karnataka performed at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg, and the concert was documented on Live in the USA. A later performance on the subsequent album tour was filmed for Secrets of Angels: Live in Concert at O2 Academy Islington.
