Kasey Chambers & Casey Barnes in Penrith

Kasey Chambers is an Australian country singer-songwriter, born in Mount Gambier in 1976, who first recorded with her family group the Dead Ringer Band. She is known for the albums The Captain and Barricades & Brickwalls, whose songs include “The Captain” and the number-one single “Not Pretty Enough.” She later recorded Rattlin’ Bones with Shane Nicholson. Kasey Chambers took the Campfire Tour around Australia in 2018, performing material recorded with the Fireside Disciples. The following year, The Captain 20th Anniversary Tour revisited her solo debut alongside songs from across her catalogue. She has performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in New South Wales and at Queensland’s Gympie Music Muster.

Casey Barnes is an Australian country-rock singer-songwriter, born in Tasmania in 1978. He appeared on Australian Idol in 2009 and is known for songs including “God Took His Time on You” and “Come Turn Me On,” as well as the albums Town of a Million Dreams and Light It Up. Casey Barnes has performed at CMC Rocks Queensland and taken his full-band show to the Gympie Music Muster. His festival history also includes the Groundwater Country Music Festival.
