Kate Nash is an English singer-songwriter and actor, born in Harrow, London, in 1987. Her indie pop pairs conversational lyrics with piano-led melodies, guitar rock and punk. She became known through “Foundations” and her debut album Made of Bricks, followed by records including My Best Friend Is You, Girl Talk and Yesterday Was Forever. In 2007, Kate Nash played Glastonbury Festival and spent the Made of Bricks album cycle touring Britain, Europe and North America. By the Girl Talk era, she was performing with an all-female band in clubs and theatres. The Made of Bricks 15th Anniversary Tour later revisited the debut in full and included a London concert at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
