About Kathryn Williams
Kathryn Williams is a British singer-songwriter, born in Liverpool in 1974, whose music centres on acoustic folk and understated alternative pop. She self-released her debut album, Dog Leap Stairs, and became more widely known when Little Black Numbers was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Her catalogue also includes Old Low Light, Relations and Hypoxia.
Kathryn Williams has performed at Glastonbury Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival as part of a live career built around intimate venues and festival stages. After the 2008 release of Two, she toured the collaboration in a duo format with Neill MacColl.
