Katie Pruitt is an American singer-songwriter born in Atlanta and raised in suburban Georgia. Her folk rock and Americana songs address family, faith, sexuality and self-acceptance; she is known for the album Expectations, including “Loving Her” and its title track, and the follow-up Mantras. Katie Pruitt has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and Newport Folk Festival, presenting her guitar-led songs in both theatre and festival settings. In 2024, she followed those appearances with club and theatre dates on the Mantras Tour.
