About KAZKA
KAZKA is a Ukrainian pop group formed in Kyiv in 2017. The lineup centers on singer Oleksandra Zarytska and multi-instrumentalists Mykyta Budash and Dmytro Mazuriak. The trio plays electronic pop shaped by Ukrainian folk timbres and is best known for “Plakala,” from the debut album Karma; “Svyata” and “Apart” are other key songs.
KAZKA first appeared before a national television audience on Ukraine’s X Factor in 2017. The group then competed in Vidbir in 2018 and returned to the national Eurovision selection with “Apart” in 2019. It also performed at Atlas Weekend and Budapest’s Sziget.
