Keali'i Reichel is an American singer, songwriter, chanter and kumu hula from Maui whose work is rooted in Hawaiian-language music and hula. He became widely known through the album Kawaipunahele and songs including “Kawaipunahele” and “E O Mai,” while his recordings have paired traditional Hawaiian material with contemporary songwriting.

Kūkahi: Live in Concert documented his concert repertoire and the central place of hula in his stage work. His performances have also carried Hawaiian song, chant and dance beyond the islands to venues including Carnegie Hall.
