Kelela in Toronto

Kelela is an American singer and songwriter, born in Washington, D.C., in 1983, who makes electronic R&B shaped by club music and atmospheric production. Her 2013 mixtape Cut 4 Me introduced songs including “Enemy” and “Bank Head”; she followed it with the Hallucinogen EP and the albums Take Me Apart and Raven. “Rewind” and “LMK” are among her best-known tracks. The Take Me Apart Tour followed the album’s release and brought her to clubs and theatres in North America and Europe. In 2023, she returned to headline stages on the RAVE:N Tour, built around Raven and material from her earlier records. Kelela has also performed at Coachella in Indio and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.

keiyaA is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist born Chakeiya Richmond in Chicago in 1992. Her alternative R&B draws on jazz, hip-hop and experimental electronic music. After the 2015 EP Work, she independently released her self-produced debut album Forever, Ya Girl in 2020, followed by Hooke’s Law in 2025. Her first European tour took place in 2021. Her live work also includes the stage production Milk Thot, which featured material later used on Hooke’s Law.
