Keller & The Keels in New Orleans

Keller & The Keels is an American acoustic trio that brings singer-guitarist Keller Williams together with guitarist Larry Keel and bassist Jenny Keel. They play bluegrass shaped by the improvisation of the jam-band circuit and are known for the albums Grass, Thief and Speed. Thief consists of bluegrass reinterpretations of songs including Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” and Marcy Playground’s “Sex and Candy.” They have toured intermittently since Grass, returning to the trio format for concert runs associated with Thief and Speed. The live lineup centers on Keller Williams on guitar and vocals, Larry Keel on lead guitar and vocals, and Jenny Keel on bass.
