Keller Williams in East Pensacola Heights

Keller Williams is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 1970. He plays acoustic jam music shaped by folk, funk and bluegrass, and is known for the song “Freeker by the Speaker” and albums including Freek, Laugh and Dream. The String Cheese Incident joined him on the collaborative album Breathe. Since the 1990s, Keller Williams has toured as a solo performer and with several band projects. His festival history includes Bonnaroo and the High Sierra Music Festival, while his ensemble work has included Keller Williams with More Than a Little and Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel. His solo concerts are built around live looping: he records guitar, bass, vocal percussion and other parts onstage, then layers them into complete arrangements. Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel shows apply a gospel-influenced ensemble format to songs associated with the Grateful Dead.
