Kennedy Administration is an American soul-jazz and funk band based in New York, built around vocalist Kennedy and keyboardist and musical director Ondre J. Its releases include the self-titled album Kennedy Administration and the follow-up Second Term. Kennedy Administration perform as a full band centered on Kennedy’s lead voice, keyboards and a funk-oriented rhythm section. The group has brought this lineup to North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam and Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival.
Jazz Funk Soul is an American contemporary-jazz supergroup formed in 2014 by keyboardist Jeff Lorber, saxophonist Everette Harp and guitarist Chuck Loeb. The group plays instrumental jazz-funk and smooth jazz, and established its recorded identity through the albums Jazz Funk Soul and More Serious Business. The original trio performed its album material in concert until Loeb’s death in 2017. Guitarist Marc Antoine subsequently joined the touring and recording lineup, preserving the group’s three-part format: Lorber on keyboards, Harp on saxophone and Antoine on guitar.
