Keren Ann in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville

Keren Ann is a French-Israeli singer-songwriter, born in Caesarea in 1974, whose music draws on chanson, folk-pop and understated rock. Her albums include La Biographie de Luka Philipsen, La Disparition, Not Going Anywhere, Nolita and 101. She also co-wrote “Jardin d’hiver” with Benjamin Biolay for Henri Salvador’s album Chambre avec vue. Keren Ann has taken her albums into club and theatre concerts in both solo and band settings. Her New York performances have included Joe’s Pub, and in Paris she has appeared at the Olympia. She also wrote the stage opera Red Waters with Barði Jóhannsson; the work premiered at the Opéra de Rouen in 2011.
