Kevin Morby in Brunswick Heads

Kevin Morby is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1988. His indie rock and folk songwriting first reached listeners through his work as the bassist in Woods and as a co-founder of The Babies. His solo catalogue includes the albums Harlem River, Singing Saw, City Music, Oh My God and This Is a Photograph, as well as songs such as “Beautiful Strangers” and “Harlem River.” Kevin Morby toured as a member of Woods and The Babies before building his own schedule of club, theatre and festival performances. In 2018, he undertook a co-headlining tour with Waxahatchee, where each artist played a separate set before they performed together. Their joint repertoire included songs connected to Jason Molina.
