Kevin Parent in Saint Thomas de Montmagny

Kevin Parent is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula who performs folk-rock and chanson in French and English. His 1995 debut album, Pigeon d’argile, introduced songs including “Nomade sédentaire,” “Boomerang” and “Seigneur”; later records include Grand parleur, petit faiseur and the English-language Fangless Wolf Facing Winter. After the release of Pigeon d’argile, Kevin Parent toured extensively across Quebec in theatres and at francophone festivals. He has presented his catalog in solo acoustic shows built around voice and guitar as well as in full-band concerts, and his festival history includes Francos de Montréal and Festival d’été de Québec.
