Kiko Veneno in La Línea de la Concepción

Kiko Veneno is a Spanish singer-songwriter born José María López Sanfeliu in Figueres in 1952. He co-founded the flamenco-rock group Veneno with Raimundo Amador and Rafael Amador, then developed a solo catalogue rooted in rumba, flamenco and pop. His best-known work includes the album Échate un cantecito, the songs “Lobo López” and “En un Mercedes blanco,” and “Volando voy,” which he wrote and Camarón de la Isla recorded. In 2006, he toured as a member of G-5 after the group released Tucaratupapi. The live album Doble vivo documented his concert repertoire in 2016, and the following year he reunited with Raimundo Amador and Rafael Amador to mark four decades since their trio’s first record, including a performance at Primavera Sound.
