Kinderen voor Kinderen Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Kinderen voor Kinderen is a Dutch children’s choir and television music project created by broadcaster VARA in 1980. A changing cast of young singers performs Dutch-language pop songs about school, family, friendship and growing up. Its best-known songs include “Op een onbewoond eiland” and “Ik heb zo waanzinnig gedroomd.”

Kinderen voor Kinderen has presented each edition’s repertoire through choreographed concerts recorded for television. Since the first Koningsspelen in 2013, the choir has also supplied the event’s annual song and dance and performed at its national opening; later concert editions were staged at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
