King Buffalo & L.A. Witch in Houston

King Buffalo are an American heavy psychedelic rock trio formed in Rochester, New York, in 2013. Their music combines weighty guitar riffs, spacious passages and extended song structures, heard across albums including Orion, Longing to Be the Mountain, The Burden of Restlessness, Acheron and Regenerator. King Buffalo have supported Clutch on tour and built a live presence in clubs, theatres and festivals across North America and Europe. In 2019, the trio performed at Germany’s Freak Valley Festival; the set was later released as Live at Freak Valley.

L.A. Witch is an American garage-rock trio formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by guitarist and vocalist Sade Sanchez, bassist Irita Pai and drummer Ellie English. Their music draws on psychedelic rock, surf guitar and lo-fi production; the band is known for songs including “Untitled” and “Kill My Baby Tonight,” as well as the albums L.A. Witch and Play with Fire. L.A. Witch supported The Kills on tour before taking their self-titled debut through clubs and festivals in North America and Europe. Their 2022 performance in Austin was later released as Live at Levitation.
