King Creosote Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

King Creosote is the recording name of Scottish singer-songwriter Kenny Anderson, who was born in Fife in 1967 and began using the moniker in the late 1990s. A co-founder of the Fence collective, he writes folk-rooted indie pop and is known for records including Rocket D.I.Y., From Scotland with Love and Diamond Mine, his Mercury Prize-nominated collaboration with Jon Hopkins.

King Creosote toured Diamond Mine with Jon Hopkins after the album appeared in 2011, translating its intimate songs and electronic textures to theatre stages. In 2014 he performed From Scotland with Love as a live accompaniment to Virginia Heath’s film about Scottish life, and the production was later presented at the Barbican in London.
