Kitchen Dwellers & Dogs In A Pile in Minneapolis

Kitchen Dwellers are an American quartet formed in Bozeman, Montana, in 2010. The band calls its approach “galaxy grass”: bluegrass instrumentation and songwriting shaped by extended jam-band improvisation. Its albums include Ghost in the Bottle, Muir Maid, Wise River and Seven Devils. In 2022, the Galaxy Grass x Cosmic Country Tour paired Kitchen Dwellers with Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country for a run of US concerts. The band later mounted the Seven Devils Tour. Beyond Montana, Kitchen Dwellers have performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and Northwest String Summit in Oregon.

Dogs in a Pile is an American jam band formed in New Jersey in 2018. The group plays improvisation-heavy rock colored by funk, jazz and psychedelia, and is known for the albums Not Your Average Beagle and Bloom. Dogs in a Pile have performed at The Peach Music Festival and Summer Camp Music Festival while touring clubs and theatres across the United States. The five-piece lineup changes set lists from night to night and extends songs through group improvisation, a format the band has also brought to The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
