Artist
Knasterbart is a German folk-rock band formed in Hamburg in 2012. Its songs draw on medieval folk and punk, using comic tales of drinking and disreputable tavern life. The band is known for tracks including “Gossenabitur,” “Laich mich ein” and “Mein Stammbaum ist ein Kreis,” as well as the albums Sauf mich schön and Branntwein für alle. Knasterbart performed at Wacken Open Air as part of a live history centred on German clubs and medieval festivals. In 2023, the band undertook a farewell tour that included Markthalle Hamburg.
