KNEECAP are an Irish hip-hop trio formed in West Belfast in 2017. Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí rap mainly in Irish, often moving into English, and their politically charged catalogue includes “C.E.A.R.T.A.,” “Get Your Brits Out,” “H.O.O.D.” and the album Fine Art. In 2024, KNEECAP played Glastonbury Festival and toured behind Fine Art across Ireland, Britain and North America. The next year, they performed at Coachella. KNEECAP perform as two MCs and a DJ. Mo Chara and Móglaí Bap deliver the verses while DJ Próvaí works from the decks, typically wearing his Irish tricolour balaclava. KNEECAP have returned repeatedly for headline shows in Dublin and London. They have also performed more than once in Glasgow.
