Artist
Knorkator are a German metal band formed in Berlin in 1994. Their heavy, industrial-tinged music is built around absurdist comedy and theatrical characters, heard in songs such as “Ick wer zun Schwein,” “Ich hasse Musik” and “Wir werden alle sterben.” They brought “Ick wer zun Schwein” to Germany’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000. The band staged a farewell concert at Columbiahalle in 2008 before reuniting in 2011. Their return put the full-band comedy-metal show back in concert halls and at festivals, including Wacken Open Air.
