KOBUKURO is a Japanese folk-pop duo formed in Osaka in 1998 by Kentaro Kobuchi and Shunsuke Kuroda. Both members sing, and Kobuchi plays guitar. Their best-known songs include “Sakura” and “Tsubomi,” while NAMELESS WORLD and 5296 are among their major albums. KOBUKURO LIVE TOUR ’08 “5296” took the duo through arenas across Japan. They followed it the next year with another nationwide arena run, KOBUKURO LIVE TOUR ’09 “CALLING.” For KOBUKURO STADIUM LIVE 2010, the duo performed in Tokyo and Miyazaki.
