Kotiteollisuus in Valkeakoski

Kotiteollisuus is a Finnish heavy-metal and hard-rock band formed in Lappeenranta in 1991. Originally called Hullu Ukko ja Kotiteollisuus, the group adopted its current name later in the decade. It is known for Jouni Hynynen’s Finnish-language songs, including “Minä olen” and “Helvetistä itään,” and for the albums Kuolleen kukan nimi and Helvetistä itään. Kotiteollisuus has toured Finland’s clubs and summer festivals since the 1990s. Beyond its southeastern home region, the band has performed at Tuska in Helsinki and Ilosaarirock in Joensuu.
