Krewella in Salt Lake City

Krewella is an American electronic duo formed in Chicago in 2007 by sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf. Originally a trio with producer Kris Trindl, the act became known for dubstep, electro house and pop vocals through the single “Alive,” the EP Play Hard and the album Get Wet. The 2013 Get Wet Live tour used a custom stage structure called the Volcano for a run through North American concert halls and theatres. Three years later, the Sweatbox Tour placed the sisters in smaller club rooms while supporting the Ammunition EP. Krewella perform a hybrid electronic set in which both sisters DJ and sing their own vocal parts. Krewella has performed at Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas; the duo also appeared at Australia’s Stereosonic.
