Kristina Orbakaitė in Los Angeles

Kristina Orbakaitė is a Russian pop singer and actress, born in Moscow in 1971. She played Lena Bessoltseva in Rolan Bykov’s 1983 film Scarecrow and later established a recording career in pop and estrada. Her best-known songs include “Call Me,” “Migratory Bird” and “The Light of Your Love”; she also recorded “The Blizzard Again” as a duet with Alla Pugacheva. In 1996, she presented her first solo concert program, Let’s Put On a Show, at the Rossiya Concert Hall. Her later programs included My Life and the anniversary concert Kiss for an Encore at the State Kremlin Palace.
