Kruelty are a Japanese band formed in Tokyo in 2017, playing death metal and metallic hardcore built around dense riffs and breakdowns. They are known for the albums A Dying Truth and Untopia, as well as the Terminal Nation collaboration The Ruination of Imperialism. Kruelty played Sound and Fury in Los Angeles and Outbreak Fest in Manchester, taking their full-band set into both club rooms and major hardcore festivals. In 2024, they toured North America alongside Dying Fetus, Full of Hell and 200 Stab Wounds.
Dead Heat are an American crossover-thrash band formed in Oxnard, California, in 2016. Their music draws on hardcore punk and thrash metal, documented on the albums Certain Death and World at War. Dead Heat have played hardcore gatherings including Sound and Fury in Los Angeles and This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia. Their club and festival work has also taken them through Europe, including a support run with Municipal Waste.
