Kult in Wroclaw

Kult is a Polish rock band formed in Warsaw in 1982 by Kazik Staszewski and Piotr Wieteska. Its music draws on punk, post-punk and alternative rock, while songs including “Arahja,” “Polska,” “Baranek” and “Gdy nie ma dzieci” became central to the band’s repertoire. The annual Pomarańczowa Trasa has taken Kult through Polish concert halls each autumn since 1992. The band also recorded an expanded acoustic performance for MTV Unplugged in 2010 and subsequently brought that project to the stage. Kult has appeared at major Polish gatherings including the Jarocin Festival and Przystanek Woodstock.
