About Quruli
Quruli is a Japanese rock band formed in 1996 by Shigeru Kishida, Masashi Sato and Nobuyuki Mori while they were students at Ritsumeikan University. The band plays alternative rock and pop, and is known for songs including “Tokyo,” “Bara no Hana” and “World’s End Supernova,” as well as the albums Team Rock and The World Is Mine.
In 2007, Quruli founded Kyoto Music Expo, a self-curated festival first held at Umekoji Park. The band has also returned to Fuji Rock Festival for multiple editions and staged headline concerts at Nippon Budokan.
