Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein in Berlin

Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein are American electronic composers and members of the Austin synth band S U R V I V E. They are best known for scoring the Netflix series Stranger Things, whose analog-synth themes became central to the show's sound. Their main-title music earned a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2017, the duo performed music from Stranger Things at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, presenting the score as a synthesizer-led audiovisual set. They also brought the project to London for a performance at the Barbican.
