Kyle Eastwood in Caluire-et-Cuire

Kyle Eastwood is an American jazz bassist and composer, born in Los Angeles in 1968. The son of filmmaker Clint Eastwood, he has built a recording career around melodic contemporary jazz on albums including Paris Blue, Now, Time Pieces and Cinematic. He has also worked on music for films including Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and Letters from Iwo Jima. Kyle Eastwood has led his quintet through European jazz clubs, theatres and festivals. The group has played Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London and Jazz in Marciac, presenting his own compositions alongside interpretations of film themes. He later developed Eastwood Symphonic, a concert program that brings his jazz ensemble together with a symphony orchestra to perform music from films directed by Clint Eastwood.
