Kyle Gordon in Ann Arbor

Kyle Gordon is an American comedian and musician who writes parody songs in sharply drawn musical personas. He became known for “Planet of the Bass,” a 1990s-style Eurodance track performed as DJ Crazy Times and featuring Ms. Biljana Electronica. The song appears on his comedy album Kyle Gordon Is Great, which moves through several genre spoofs and characters. In 2023, Kyle Gordon performed “Planet of the Bass” at a Jonas Brothers concert at Yankee Stadium in New York. He later brought the album’s character-based songs to the stage on the Kyle Gordon Is Great Tour, appearing in costume as figures including DJ Crazy Times.
