La Dispute in Newcastle West

La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2004. The group is known for Jordan Dreyer’s spoken and shouted narratives, heard across albums including Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair, Wildlife and Rooms of the House. “Such Small Hands” and “King Park” are among its signature songs. The 2015 documentary Tiny Dots captured La Dispute’s touring life and live performances. In 2022, the band marked the anniversary of Wildlife by playing the album in full on tour, followed in 2024 by an anniversary run devoted to Rooms of the House. European runs have brought La Dispute to London, while Australian touring has reached Melbourne.
