La K'onga is an Argentine cuarteto group formed in Villa Dolores, Córdoba, in 2003. Its dance music also draws on cumbia and Latin pop, and the band is known for songs including “La cabaña,” “Te mentiría” and “Universo paralelo,” recorded with Nahuel Pennisi. In 2022, La K'onga played a run of concerts at Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires and later performed at Movistar Arena. The following year, the group marked its 20th anniversary with a stadium concert at Estadio Vélez Sarsfield. The live show features a full cuarteto band and three lead voices, carried by Nelson Aguirre, Diego Granadé and Pablo Tamagnini.
La Delio Valdez is an Argentine cumbia orchestra formed in Buenos Aires in 2009. The group draws closely on Colombian cumbia traditions and is known for songs including “Inocente,” “Paisaje” and “La cancioncita,” as well as the album El tiempo y la serenata. In 2021, La Delio Valdez recorded a Tiny Desk (home) concert that presented its brass, percussion and multiple vocalists in an ensemble setting. The orchestra later celebrated its 15th anniversary with a stadium concert in 2024 at Estadio Ferro.
