La Roux is an English synth-pop project formed in London by singer Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, later continuing as Jackson’s solo vehicle. The self-titled debut album established the act through “In for the Kill” and “Bulletproof,” followed by the albums Trouble in Paradise and Supervision. In 2009, La Roux supported Lily Allen on a UK tour, performed at Glastonbury and played headline dates behind the debut album. The following year, the same touring cycle included a performance at Coachella.
