La Rue Kétanou in Ramonville St Agne

La Rue Kétanou is a French chanson group formed in 1996 by musicians who met through the Théâtre du Fil. Its songs combine acoustic folk, ska and rock rhythms, and the group is known for albums including En attendant les caravanes and Y’a des cigales dans la fourmilière, as well as songs such as “Les Hommes que j’aime” and “Ma faute à toi”. La Rue Kétanou first performed its songs in the street while travelling with theatre work, then moved into clubs, theatres and festival programmes across France. The concert release Ouvert à double tour documented that stage repertoire, and the group has performed at Les Vieilles Charrues and the Francofolies de La Rochelle.
